The Hong Kong League XI will face Jamaica's Olympic football team in the 2007 Lunar New Year Cup tournament at Hong Kong Stadium later this month.
This year, the Hong Kong Football Association (HKFA) has invited Olympic teams from Australia, China and Jamaica to compete in the annual showpiece.
At Wednesday's official draw, the Hong Kong League XI were pitted against Jamaica (3.15pm, February 18), with China taking on Australia at 5.15pm on the same day.
The winners will go through to the finals (8.15pm, February 21), while the losers will battle for the third/fourth place at 6pm.
The competition will give the teams a chance to shape their squads for the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games. Hong Kong assistant coach, Dejan Antonic, said China - who as hosts would get automatic entry to the Games - could be their toughest opponents.
'China is the strongest team, not only are they experienced, but they have played for a long time. Their organisation is very good. They have also prepared well for the 2008 Beijing Olympics. If we can meet China in the finals, it will be a good game,' he said.
'Jamaica will be the surprise package. I'm not sure how they are going to play. I have followed the other teams before, and they're not bad.
