After six generations of turning fine wool into clothing and accessories, Italy's Loro Piana has created materials for its first interiors collection, featuring cashmere, vicuna, angora, buffalo hide and more. Shades are geared for the home, with five chromatic schemes available: Zen, for natural tones; Absolute, for greys and deep browns; Glamour, for beige and green; Regal for blue; and Passion (above right) for red. Top of the range is the tantalising cashmere carpet, One Step to Heaven (above left), which is so luxurious every metre requires 2kg of fibre. The carpet is suitable not only for home use but also for yachts, planes and, so the firm says, helicopters. Loro Piana is at various locations, including shop 338, Pacific Place, Admiralty, tel: 2918 1620; www.loropiana.com.
