Luk Fook Jewellery & Goldsmith (HK)

Luk Fook Jewellery & Goldsmith is part of Luk Fook Holdings, which is in the retailing and wholesaling business of jewellery and accessories. The group runs more than 300 retail shops worldwide. The judges said the company's proposal encompassed many aspects, from staff training to shop image enhancement, customer feedback, after-sales services, grooming a new generation of jewellery designers and quality assurance. 'As a retailer of relatively luxurious products, the company had been able to address the key concerns of customers, for example, providing on-the-spot authentication of the precious stones and tailor-made designs for customers.'

Citybase Property Management - Commercial Building Division

Citybase Property Management, a subsidiary of Cheung Kong (Holdings), provides professional and customer-focused property and facility management services. The judges said the company's service implementation embraced distinct themes and measures, as well as clearly defined yardsticks to gauge achievements. The definition of customer had been extended to the community at large, the judges said. The company launched activities and services to engage tenants and visitors to the premises, and to promote involvement in the community. Social service programmes, such as blood donations and volunteer service teams were organised regularly, and exhibitions were held on the premises on themes of general interest.
