The Hong Kong Baptist University has set up two scholarships for Bachelor of Business Administration students going abroad on exchange programmes, starting in September. The first will grant HK$300,000 to five students a year. The second involves HK$420,000 for outstanding business freshmen.

An array of items providing a record of the anniversary will be kept in the archive of the university library. They include DVDs, research papers and dissertations, stationery, jackets and ties.

openu granted HK$35m

The Open University of Hong Kong has received a HK$35 million donation from Dr Cheng Yu-tung, chairman of New World Development Company, New World Hotels and Chow Tai Fook Enterprises. The donation will be used for the second phase of the university's campus development project.
