talks to prevent spread of diseases across border

Permanent Secretary for Health, Welfare and Food Sandra Lee Suk-yee visited Shenzhen yesterday for talks aimed at preventing the spread of infectious diseases across the border. Ms Lee met the director-general of the Shenzhen Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau, Liu Shengli . The Health, Welfare and Food Bureau would consult the Legislative Council panel on health services on its proposed amendments to the Quarantine and Prevention of Disease Ordinance, she said.
