August 24 Mr Ho receives a death threat accompanied by a cutter blade at his law office, hours after being discharged from hospital

August 25 Police release sketches of two suspects and appeal for information

October 12 Four men and a woman are arrested

October 14 Three suspects are each charged with wounding Mr Ho with intent

October 17 A 56-year-old man is arrested

November 3 A 77-year-old man is arrested

February 5, 2007 Leung Kwan-ping, one of four defendants, tells the District Court he ordered the attack on Mr Ho after the legislator failed to help him get welfare and housing assistance.
