Lovesick get extra mushy

We all know Valentine's Day is a scam for chocolate and flower sellers, but that did not stop numerous couples from getting amorous on Wednesday. As tradition has it now at Times Square, various lovers broadcast messages on the big TV screen and the mall added a faux carriage and 10 violinists for the lovesick puppies to get extra mushy and make everyone around them gag. Two guys apparently took the wooing one step further and proposed to their loved ones in the open piazza after their love notes were screened at 5pm. One was a man named Ah Lai (left). 'Marriage has been on our minds for quite a while, so I decided to propose on Valentine's Day.' His fiancee, Yanni Yi, said that after the love message was screened, 'he came with a trolley of flowers and ... proposed'. She said 'yes'.
