February 2006 Broadcasting Authority refuses to exempt TVB Pearl from its duty to broadcast an education programme it wanted to replace with live coverage of Academy Awards. The Television Entertainment Licensing Authority later overrules judgment.

March 2005 Broadcasting Authority condemns TVB trailer featuring model wannabes covering breasts with their hands as 'gratuitous and not contextually justified' for modelling show.
