Since 1993 Mr Tchen has held various positions at The Peninsula Hong Kong, and in 2004 was appointed vice-president, operations planning and support. In his new capacity he will continue to develop operating guidelines and provide support to upcoming Peninsula hotels in Tokyo and Shanghai, and develop the Peninsula Merchandising business throughout Asia.

Charles Morris

Mr Morris joined The Peninsula Group in 2004 as resident manager of The Peninsula Manila. He began his hospitality career in 1974 with the Dolder Grand Hotel, Zurich and has held senior positions with international luxury hotel groups in Cambodia, France, Greece, Hong Kong, Japan, Mauritius, South Africa and the United Kingdom. During the 1980s he worked for Peninsula-managed hotels and restaurants in Hong Kong.

Paul Aiello

Mr Aiello joined STAR in June last year and has been responsible for developing strategic and business directions for the company and overseeing its overall corporate functions. Before joining STAR, he had a distinguished career at Morgan Stanley. He was in charge of its Telecom, Media and Technology Group in Asia-Pacific, where he provided strategic and investment advice to STAR for more than five years.

Jade Lui

Before starting a career in recruitment, she was a business development manager of a United States-listed business-to-business communications service provider covering Hong Kong and China. She has more than five years' experience working with clients from different industries.

Neil Bullock

Mr Bullock has been recently transferred to Hong Kong from Ambition's headquarters in Sydney, Australia. He has been with the Ambition Group since 2003, providing executive recruitment solutions for technology professionals in the banking and financial services sector. He is also responsible for establishing a new technology recruitment division in Asia.

Didier Le Calvez

In this newly created, Paris-based position, Mr Le Calvez will be responsible for leading Shangri-La's rapid expansion into the west. He will introduce and maintain Shangri-La's signature standards of Asian-style service excellence in Paris, and in new hotels opening over the next three years in London, Vancouver, Chicago, Miami and Las Vegas, as well as New York, Toronto and other gateway cities.
