Living on the Edge

Apple

If you're in the market for a computer keyboard that combines a stylish form with advanced functionality, take a look at Logitech's new diNovo Edge keyboard. This slim, 11mm-thick keyboard is laser-cut from a single piece of Plexiglas and set into a brushed aluminium frame.

The diNovo Edge is a rechargeable wireless keyboard with a stand that doubles as the charger for its Li-Ion battery. It features a set of enhanced controls, including a circular touchpad the company calls the TouchDisc, which can be used for scrolling, selection and cursor movement. Other controls become illuminated when in use. The keyboard uses Bluetooth to connect wirelessly to your PC and is certified for Windows Vista.

However, note that this is just an 84-key keyboard - there is no number pad, so don't give it as a gift to the accountant in your family. The price tag is every bit as impressive as the design, at US$200.
