Don't spend too long glued to the screen

Many teenagers are addicted to computer games.

Playing online games can help you relax, but too much of it will disrupt your life.

Your studies will be affected and you will get poor grades.

Sitting in front of your computer for long hours affects your eyesight, too. Make sure you have a rest after an hour.

Playing online games is also a waste of money. The more you play, the more you pay.

Teenagers should join more outdoor activities, make more friends and try different things.

Thanks for writing in, Alan. Playing computer games may be fun, but it is probably not the best way of relaxing when you have a heavy study schedule.

After staring at the pages of your textbooks for hours, your eyes might need a rest, and focusing on a computer screen isn't ideal.

There's nothing wrong with playing on the computer, just make sure it's not for too long. Going for a walk in a park, or even just around the block, is a better way of letting your eyes and mind relax.

As with many things, an indulgence every now and then is fine. But spending hours glued to the screen is unhealthy.
