On the ball

Having recently celebrated the 25th anniversary of its popular Air Force 1 trainers, Nike has designed 30 special-edition pairs, each of which represents a US city with a rich basketball legacy. Cities, which include Chicago, Philadelphia, Boston, Los Angeles and Atlanta, were selected based on their contribution to the game and image of basketball. The high-top trainers (HK$1,590 each) are part of a special homage collection named Nike AF25 from Coast to Coast and will be available exclusively in Hong Kong at Nike, shop 38, Manning House, 48 Queen's Road Central, tel: 2526 7620.
