I bought a fabulous Daniel Swarovski clutch covered in tiny crystals in Europe but some of the  pieces fell out last weekend. Do you know anyone who can fix it?

The Dictator rules: No matter how sparkly the accessories, falling down drunk is never a good look. (Don't try to deny it.) Your long-term solution would be to stop that behaviour. Short term, incredible as it sounds, you could ask Swarovski for help. Who would have thought? The brand hasthree repair service centres in Hong Kong: Central Building (1 Pedder Street, Central, tel: 2530 9120), Harbour City (shop 2413,  Tsim Sha Tsui, tel: 2175 5885) and Telford Plaza 1 (shop G25, Kowloon Bay, tel: 2566 6480).

We begged for pricing, but staff want to see the item to determine if it's repairable and whether they need to order any  parts. If local repair isn't possible, the item  will be flown to Daniel Swarovski in Paris.

La-di-da. Most cases require six to eight weeks. Now all you need are some dazzling, crystal-encrusted glasses and you'll be hot to trot.

I've seen some royal blues in fashion magazines but I haven't  seen much in stores. Have you?

The Dictator:  Lots. Oh, how we'd love to leave you hanging. You could ease into the spring/summer trend with a knit top by Ray Cassin or Tout A Coup for about HK$499 at  I.T (shop 518,  Times Square, Causeway Bay, tel: 2506 0186). Or else, how about a super mini or top at  SJSJ (HK$1,000 to HK$1,690; shop 327, Times Square,  tel: 3583 3519)? How about a cheap and cheerful dress from  Mango (HK$499 to HK$549; shop 401, Times Square,  tel: 2506 1130)? The Grecian dress in cobalt-coloured jersey looks like a winner, but we're not sure if you can pull off the blue lame, pleated number without looking like a Studio 54 reject. If you want to go designer, check out  Chloe,  Jil Sander and  Helmut Lang.

I have looked everywhere for a specific line of Dead Sea mineral hair and face products - but I can't remember what it is called!  It  has been advertised on  television with footage of these girls supposedly on the edge of the Dead Sea rubbing green  stuff on themselves.

The Dictator: I don't know what kind of TV you've been watching ... and I don't want to know. A good, full line of Dead Sea treatments by Ahava is sold in Hong Kong (tel: 2771 7192). The products are sold all over town, including Victoria Dispensary  (Luk Hoi Tong Building, 31 Queen's Road Central) and Make Up City (41  Carnarvon Road, Tsim Sha Tsui). Prices range from about HK$80 for a packet of Dead Sea bath crystals to HK$480 for a mineral serum for all skin types. Should you wish to recreate the scene in that intriguing ad, mud  masks are sold for HK$280 to HK$320. Oh, and for those few who are more intrigued by the benefits of the Dead Sea, it apparently has one of the world's highest concentrations of minerals that can be used for skin care. The 'dead' part really inspires confidence. I wonder if they would consider renaming that body of water.
