Stay happy for a long and successful life
Most people think it's important to be happy, but have you ever thought why? Here are a few reasons.
Firstly, when you are doing something difficult and complicated, you feel bored and worried. But, if you look at something interesting, you will feel happy and relaxed.
Secondly, when you are happy, everything seems easy and you can finish your work quickly.
Lastly, being happy helps to keep your immune system strong, and this means less illness. If you are sad and stressed, you will get sick easily. If you are always happy, you should live a long life.

Being happy is, as you say, both important and beneficial, Sai-kit. But many students find it hard to stay positive when they are swamped with homework and extra-curricular activities, and have to deal with the pressure of tests and exams.
It is crucial to find ways of relaxing. Doing exercise is good as it gives your mind a rest and gets your endorphins - chemicals in the brain that make you feel happy - flowing. It also tires out your body so that you can sleep more soundly. As you become fitter, you will find that you have more energy during the day.
Try to strike a balance in your life - it's good to work hard, but we all have to relax and de-stress, too.
