Given that they tend to glam up and arrive at practically every event on the social calendar, you have to wonder when celebrity couple Patrick Leong Tin-cheong and Isabella Kau Hung-ping (below) even found time to plan the opening of their Lan Kwai Fong bar, Fevar Club, on the fourth floor of the California Tower. Fortunately, Leong, the proprietor of Chinese restaurant Zen, and former beauty queen Kau, who runs beauty enterprise IsaWorkshop, aren't the only owners. It seems there are about eight partners in the swanky watering hole, which was crammed at its Wednesday night opening.

'We have been thinking about opening a club for a while but we just never found the right place,' Leong said. 'We spent only a few million dollars on this.' The schmoozing they do every other night of the week clearly paid off with a significant contingent of celebrities and socialites, including martial-arts star Donnie Yen Ji-dan, Gold Label manager Paco Wong Pak-ko, veteran actress Nancy Sit Ka-yin, TV personality Pauline Yam Po-lam, and radio host Leung Sze-ho all showing up - although most only stayed briefly since you could barely breathe in the overcrowded joint.
