Comme des Garcons has opened its first store in Hong Kong. The three-storey building has a white-panelled exterior with womenswear on the first floor, menswear on the second and an exhibition space designed by Michael Howells on the top floor. Dior diary

After nearly a year of negotiations, Dior Homme designer Hedi Slimane has ended his five-year stint at Christian Dior. Belgian designer Kris Van Assche has been named Dior Homme's artistic director and will be in charge of the brand's ready-to-wear and accessories collections.

A model's model

Kate Moss has chosen Chanel model and former Babyshambles drummer Irina Lazareanu to model for her new TopShop collection. The KM for TopShop range goes on sale on May 1.

Tight knit

Hosiery label Wolford is collaborating with Valentino on a new line, due in July, that will feature five bodysuits and matching tights. It will be available at Wolford and Valentino stores worldwide.

Six months after gaining a doctorate from University of the Arts London, Giorgio Armani has been awarded an honorary degree in industrial design by the Politecnico di Milano.
