1937: born Kung Yu-sum in Shanghai
Early 1950s: comes to Hong Kong with childhood friend Teddy Wang Teh-huei
1955: marries Teddy
1960: Teddy makes will leaving estate divided equally between father and wife
1963: Teddy's new will names father Wang Din-shin as sole executor and beneficiary allegedly after Nina is having affair
Early 1980s: Teddy becomes one of Hong Kong's top tycoons
1983: Teddy kidnapped: released after Nina pays HK$11 million ransom
Early 1990s: new will drawn up, leaving everything to Nina
Apr 1990: Teddy kidnapped again, never reappears. Nina takes control of Chinachem
1996: Nina announces plan for world's tallest skyscraper, but it is never built
Sep 1999: Teddy declared dead
Nov 2002: Teddy's 1990 will declared a forgery, estate awarded to Wang Din-shin (left)
Dec 2002: Nina arrested on suspicion of forging will
Jun 2004: Nina's appeal against 2002 will ruling rejected
Jan 2005: Nina appears in court charged with forgery, using false instrument and performing acts intended to pervert course of justice
Jul 2005: Court of Final Appeal rules in favour of Nina, returning control of Chinachem to her
Dec 2005: prosecutors drop fraud charges
Apr 3, 2007: Nina dies of cancer
