Exciting new columns in Young Post this summer

Recently, I received a leaflet about a summer holiday reading programme.

Last summer, I learned a lot from reading newspapers.

Every day I got a newspaper from a convenience store and spent about an hour reading it. I sometimes read it out loud and wrote down difficult words or phrases.

This year, I'm glad that there will be lots of new content to help improve our English and have fun at the same time.

I will join the programme again this summer and I recommend that you sign up, too.

Reading is a good way to improve our English.

TSANG SHING-CHEUNG

Christian Alliance S.C. Chan Memorial College Thanks for your letter, Shing-cheung. And I'm really happy to hear that you enjoy Young Post over the holidays.

We've got some really great new content planned for this summer, so make sure that you sign up for our special summer holiday reading package. You can look forward to news about wacky inventions from the past and present. And we've got lots of suggestions about how to throw a fun party for your friends.

And if you aren't able to get away over the summer, our Armchair Traveller column will be the next best thing. And there's a weekly page on how to be a tourist in Hong Kong and make the most of our exciting city. Plus fashion, cartoons, games and lots more.
