Artists try out new material
Evisu is exhibiting 48 pieces commissioned from local artists, who were invited to create works to be displayed in 36cm cubes, and made from Evisu denim, fabrics and other accessories. The pieces will be on show at the store in Ocean Terminal, then at D-Mop, before heading back to the original location. During the final week, each piece will be auctioned, with proceeds benefiting the Children's Cancer Fund. Evisu Cube Gallery exhibition will run from April 11 to May 8. Inquiries: 3106 3392.
Zanotti's a shoe thing
Escada has appointed Damiano Biella as its creative director and Italian shoe designer Giuseppe Zanotti to design footwear for the fashion house, says WWD.
Campbell has designs on lingerie
Naomi Campbell (below) is the latest model to try her hand at fashion design. According to Fashion Week Daily, she has been seen making regular visits to hip designer Christopher Kane's Dalston studio to discuss a possible lingerie collaboration.

Spring is in the air
Pacific Place celebrates spring with Salvatore Ferragamo and Loewe. Both brands will showcase their collections at Garden Court. All this month, American Express cardholders who spend a minimum of HK$1,000 in the shopping centre - other cardholders need to spend at least HK$1,500 - can join a draw with HK$1.6 million in prizes. Ferragamo, until April 15; and Loewe from April 17 to 23.
Gray adds a bit of colour
Kelly Gray, daughter of the founders of luxury clothing line St Johns, has announced plans to add a collection of women's clothing and men's jewellery under Royal Underground, a rock'n'roll-inspired men's wear company she founded with Motley Crue bassist Nikki Six. According to WWD, Gray will design a 25- to 40-piece collection of leather jackets, cashmere sweaters, dresses, skirts, T-shirts and denim.
