Another day, another retailer flogging their spring/summer outfits. However, the folks at Seibu gave their Wednesday afternoon fashion show a youth touch. In addition to impossibly good-looking models and guest celebrities - in this case, actors Yoyo Mung Ka-wai and Lai Lok-yi - they also used two kids on the runway at the Peninsula.

Working it on the catwalk among the stick-thin waifs in Paul Smith and Moschino were Natasha Schwarze, five, and Merlin Head, six, (below) who whipped off his little baseball cap midway, inspiring oohs and aahs.

'He seems to enjoy all the attention. He's a bit of a performer,' Merlin's father, Chris, said.

Ironically, the young lad had more confidence than 170cm-tall TVB star Mung, who told reporters she thought she was not tall enough to model. 'But Lok-yi persuaded me to do it,' she added. Yeah, sounds like false modesty, considering it's still a paying gig for her.

No doubt her fee probably covered more than a few of those Pelle Borsa black teddy bears selling for HK$1,000 each.
