Six injured in separate road accidents

A 22-year-old man was knocked unconscious after being hit by a red minibus on Un Chau Street, Sham Shui Po. He later regained consciousness in Caritas Medical Centre, where he remained in a stable condition last night. The driver, 41, passed a breathalyser test. In a separate case, four men and a woman were injured when a car and a taxi collided head-on after the car skidded into an opposite lane on Deep Water Bay Road, Aberdeen. They were treated at Queen Mary and Ruttonjee hospitals.

Worker hurt in 3m fall

A 46-year-old worker sustained serious head injuries after falling from a three-metre platform at a sewage pumping station on Yuen Wo Road, Sha Tin. He was in a serious condition in Prince of Wales Hospital.

235 Filipinos vote

A total of 235 Filipinos cast their votes on the first day of the month-long Philippine overseas absentee voting in Hong Kong. Five helpers camped outside the Bayanihan Centre in Kennedy Town - about 131/2 hours before polls opened.
