A meat supplier for Fook Lam Moon Restaurant and the Four Seasons Hotel was jailed for six months yesterday for paying bribes of HK$240 to the restaurant's barbecue chef and HK$9,740 to a chef from the hotel. Ip Foo-keung, 47, the owner of Ching Kee, who was earlier found guilty in Eastern Court, offered kickbacks to the chefs for buying suckling pigs from his firm. Ip offered HK$15 per pig to the Fook Lam Moon chef. He supplied over 970 pigs to the hotel chef, who accepted a bribe of HK$10 per pig.
