Palm glam

From the 1930s to 70s it was the playground of Hollywood stars but Palm Springs is also known for having inspired the world with its modernist architecture, interiors and art. Tai Ping Carpets pays homage to the city's style with the Palm Springs collection of rugs, featuring dynamic patterns and juxtaposed textures. Among the 18 patterns are Marilyn I (below right; HK$4,707 a square metre), which is bold and graphic, and Ava II (below left; HK$5,604 a square metre), which features delicate leaf outlines.
