French jewellery maker Chaumet hosted a cocktail party to preview its new collection, Attrape- moi ... si tu m'aimes, at the Mandarin Oriental hotel last month.

The designs were presented by models and the highlight was a HK$12 million spider lace necklace made of almost 2,700 diamonds totalling more than 150 carats. Chaumet's vice-president and artistic director Lionel Giraud flew in from Paris for the occasion, and was joined by Michelle Hon, Elaine Chung Lai-kwok, architect Tony Luk Ka-luen and Lynn Park. Benny Yeung Yuen-bun, and Jeanny and Antonio da Silva were also seen among the crowd.
