Chan leads all-comers in French regatta

In-form Chan King-yin stayed on top of the men's RSX competition at Hyeres Olympic Week in France. Chan, the Asian Games gold medallist in Doha last year, led the 108-strong fleet with 11 penalty points after six races. New Zealander Ashley Tom and Ho Chi-ho are tied with 12, and in second and third places respectively. Sailing in light winds, Chan won races five and six. In the women's event, Yin Jian of China, silver medallist at the Athens Olympics, led the fleet with five victories out of six races. Hong Kong's Chan Wai-kei and Chan Wai-man are 20th and 27th respectively out of 71 boardsailors.
