AWARD-winning jockey Declan Murphy (above) is joining the Racing Post team of experts from this Sunday's Sha Tin meeting.

Murphy, widely recognised as one of the most accomplished riders ever to grace Hong Kong, followed in the steps of such great American jockeys as Steve Cauthen and Cash Asmussen when claiming an Eclipse Award as their top apprentice.

He then spent five years riding in the territory, firstly for Eddie K. C. Lo and then for Geoff Lane before leaving to team up with his brother Joe Murphy who is one of the leading trainers in Macau.

If you want the top tips, the best reports, the most detailed statistics, to be first with the news and to read the only comment that counts there is only one racing team to follow . . . Racing Post.
