Make this Mother's Day a special one

How will you celebrate Mother's Day on Sunday? I will buy my mum a present, help her with the housework and be good all day.

Actually, I think I should treat her as a queen every day - not just once a year. I feel sorry that I have been naughty and have hurt her feelings. One day after a big fight, I had a severe stomach ache and she rushed me to hospital.

On the way, she grabbed my hand tightly and cried. Despite the bad things I've done, she still forgives me. I want to make her happy so I try to keep calm and be patient when I talk to her.

Being a good child and taking good care of myself is the best present I can give my mum.

I will always love her.

Thanks for your letter, Mini. It sounds as though you really love and value your mum. Make sure you don't miss tomorrow's Young Post as our health writer Wynnie Chan has created some great recipes for you to try out on Mother's Day. My favourite is the smoked salmon and scrambled eggs, but the berry smoothie is also good - and so easy to make.

And on Friday we focus on a couple of celebrity mums and look at how they will celebrate the special day.

Even if you don't get around to making your mum breakfast in bed, just telling her you love her is bound to put a smile on her face.
