Mortuary introduces bar-code system

The Prince of Wales Hospital has begun using a bar-code system in its mortuary to improve body identification after the Sha Tin hospital mixed up two bodies last month. Hospital chief executive Fung Hong (pictured) said yesterday an internal investigation was completed early this week and a report sent to the Hospital Authority. A spokesman for the authority said the report will be forwarded to the Health, Welfare and Food Bureau next week.
