Campaign to end queue jumping
In a civilised society, people should not only be polite, clean and disciplined - they should also pay attention to public hygiene.
I think people in Beijing need to be more aware of the importance of public hygiene.
Many tourists complain that people spit and throw rubbish on the street. They also cut the queues.
Public toilets are disgusting as many people don't flush after using them.
Even the Chinese government has introduced a campaign to promote civilised behaviour.

Thanks for your letter, Pui-man. The Beijing government has recognised that queue-jumping is a problem and launched a campaign to put a stop to it before the Olympics.
Knowing that the eyes of the world will be on the city next year, the campaign was launched under the slogan: 'It's civilised to queue, it's glorious to be polite.'
The campaign kicked off in February, with thousands of volunteers out on the streets trying to persuade people to wait in line in order to present a better image to visitors.
