Seven people were injured, one seriously, when a minibus in which they were travelling hit a car at the junction of Castle Peak and Wo Yi Hop roads, Kwai Chung, at about 2am. The three men and four women were taken to Princess Margaret Hospital. The drivers were unhurt. A man, 24, was in serious condition and a woman, 21, was in stable condition.

Police seek 2 after acid attack

Police are hunting for two alleged debt collectors following an acid attack on a 28-year-old woman for failure to pay. The attack happened at about 12.10am in a flat in Ki Lung Street, Mong Kok. The woman was taken to Kwong Wah Hospital where she was in stable condition. Police refused to reveal how much money was involved.

Vice raid nets 15 in Mong Kok

Police and immigration officers arrested a local man and 14 mainland women in raids on about 100 entertainment premises in Mong Kok during a joint anti-vice operation. The 19-hour operation ended at 1pm.

Thief caught taking drunk's wallet

A man, 33, was arrested for stealing a wallet from a drunk in Science Museum Road, Tsim Sha Tsui. The victim, 26, was asleep on a bench when the incident happened at 1.45am. Police caught the suspect at the scene and recovered the wallet. The suspect was charged with theft and released on HK$500 bail. He will appear in Kowloon City Court on June 6.

Bus hits woman on phone

A woman, 22, was hit by a KMB double-decker when she crossed Tim Fuk Road in Kowloon Tong while speaking on her mobile phone at about 12.30pm. She was taken to hospital with head and arm injuries.
