The ubiquity of the digital camera has resulted in a companion product, the digital photo frame. It displays photos directly from the camera's memory card or from an internal memory, which cuts out the hassle of waiting for photos to be printed on paper. One of the latest digital photo frames on the market is Samsung Electronics' SPF-72H model, with a seven-inch, high-resolution colour display. It supports the Windows Vista operating system and has 128-megabyte flash memory, 4-in-1 memory card slot and two USB ports. It comes with a 90-degree rotating stand that allows both horizontal and vertical installations. There are also nine pre-defined slideshow effects to choose from. The Samsung SPF-72H digital photo frame is priced at HK$1,780.
