Taiwan's Transcend Information has added panache to the USB Flash drive with the release of the JetFlash 185. This portable-storage device measures 50mm x 16mm x 7mm, is housed in a zinc alloy case integrated with a USB 2.0 interface and has a short chain so it can be hooked to a key ring. It is enhanced for Microsoft's ReadyBoost disk-caching technology - found in the Windows Vista operating system - which is supposed to increase memory performance. It also has an array of software applications with functions such as auto login, secret Zip and online update.

The JetFlash 185 comes with a lifetime warranty and is available in three capacities, priced at HK$210 (1 gigabyte), HK$300 (2GB) and HK$520 (4GB).
