Inquiry report deadline extended
The commission of inquiry will report its findings to the chief executive on or before June 20 after an extension was approved this week. It had been due to submit its report by Thursday, but the timetable was amended after witnesses spent longer on the stand than expected. Commission chairman Mr Justice Wally Yeung Chun-kuen said the extension was also needed because of the number of documents and witnesses and the complexities. 'It's got nothing to do with political agenda as suggested in some media,' he said.
