Squash rivals to clash

HONG Kong booked their place in the team semi-finals of the Perrier Asian Squash Championships with preliminary round wins over Kuwait and Sri Lanka in Kuala Lumpur yesterday.


Against Kuwait, number one Faheem Khan beat Adil Gareeb while Andrew Shum Siu-chung and Jackie Lee Chun-kit completed a 3-0 rout.


Hong Kong breezed past Sri Lanka without dropping a game in the evening session. They meet arch rivals Malaysia today to decide the winners of Pool B.
