Lawyers for Nancy Kissel, who was convicted two years ago of bashing her banker husband to death, handed submissions to the Court of Appeal yesterday. The body of Robert Kissel, head of Asian distressed debt for Merrill Lynch, was found on November 6, 2003, wrapped in a rug in a storeroom at the luxury Parkview estate where the couple lived. Kissel was convicted of murder and sentenced to life in prison after a 65-day trial ending in September 2005. Her appeal is to begin on April 14 next year.
