Over the past 10 years, a series of landmark events have made a deep impression on Hong Kong people.

As part of the 10th anniversary celebrations of the handover, Yahoo Hong Kong has organised a competition called My Life My City.

Participants can post video clips, pictures and blog entries to share their treasured memories with others.

The website (http://hk.promo.yahoo.com/mylifemycity/)  features a photo album which contains vintage pictures and modern digital photos. Be it a baby portrait taken in in the 1960s or a colourful photo showing the gleaming skyscrapers on the Wan Chai waterfront, the photos reflect the collective memory of Hong Kong.

Entrants can upload their work in five categories: 'This is Love', 'Beautiful Hong Kong Scene', 'Sweet Memories', 'City Fanfare' and 'Big Events in Life'.

Entries should be submitted before July 20.

A poll to choose the 10 best entries in each category will be conducted from July 25

to 31. The   winners will be announced on August 1.
