One stop for best of the action
TWO of the busiest performers on the local music scene will be hosting a special Radio Free Hong Kong gig at F.Stop on Tuesday.
John Lowe and Zoe Brewster have put together another musical project - this time by the name of Ube - and they'll be joined on stage by special guests Neil, Dave Lundgren and their old friend Sean Fitzpatrick.
Doors open at 8pm with a $30 admission.
Tonight: Catch AWOL in The Wanch from 10pm, and Robert Chicken Pickin' Findlay and The Rick Shaw Band at the Amoeba from 10pm.
Cellist Sean Grissom will be at the Fringe Club bar from 9pm, while guitarist Elvin Bishop can be heard at the Jazz Club from 9.30pm.
House band Max Tempo at Judgement A.D. from 10.30pm; Dave Colquhoun at Mad Dogs Kowloon at 6pm and at Mad Dogs Central at 9pm.
Tomorrow: Captain Mabullah will be at The Godown from 9.30pm. Splash It About and Rattlesnakin' Daddies at The Wanch from 7.30pm.
DJ Mickey Smith's Rebirth of Cool will be at club IT from midnight (admission $60).
Mercell will play at the L.A. Cafe from 10.30pm, and Elvin Bishop at the Jazz Club from 9.30pm.
May Ip and her band will be in the Fringe Club bar from 9pm, and the Rock Gang will be at the Amoeba from 10pm.
