The Alistair Harvey Foundation Scholarship was set up in 2004 and aims to provide institute of vocational education students of higher diploma courses the means to complete the final year of an undergraduate degree, and a master's degree programme in Britain. The scholarship targets students with outstanding technical ability. Disciplines covered by the scholarship include applied science, information technology, and mechanical, manufacturing and industrial engineering. The scholarship covers tuition fees and accommodation costs, as well as living expenses and air fares covering two round trips between Hong Kong and Britain.
