A 7-year-old boy was in critical condition after a fall at a Tsing Yi public housing estate. The boy was trying to jump over a railing near a mall at Cheung Wang Estate at about 3pm when he fell. He was taken to Princess Margaret Hospital with head injuries. In a separate incident, a 12-year-old boy was in critical condition in Prince of Wales Hospital after he fell from the third-floor rooftop at his Tai Po home. The boy was playing hide-and-seek with two girls on top of a village block where he lived with his mother in Nam Wa Po at about 5pm. He fell while trying climb down from the roof.
