Judicial review hearing ends

A hearing on a judicial review against a Medical Council decision to postpone a disciplinary hearing against a surgeon ended yesterday. Court of First Instance Justice Barnabas Fung Wah reserved his judgment. The council decided on January 31 not to proceed with a hearing against surgeon Donald Greig over misleading advertising. Philip Dykes, for complainant Darren Mann, another surgeon, said the council should have held the hearing 'sooner' and that Dr Mann should have been told about the decision to adjourn the hearing.
