Forty years after his death, two of Bruce Lee's siblings reminisce about their famous brother's life and a legacy that is inspiring a whole new generation of fighters. Jo Baker reports.
Artists from around the world will be invited to stage their exhibitions at a new art gallery overlooking Victoria Harbour.
Gallery by the Harbour will open at Harbour City tomorrow.
Galerie Ora-Ora, a fine art gallery and art consultancy in Hong Kong, has joined hands with Harbour City to organise the new gallery's first art exhibition - Abstraction of Consciousness. The exhibition will showcase the works of two contemporary artists, American sculptor Will Clift and Chinese painter Xu Maoping.
Clift started experimenting with sculpture at the age of four. His works are playful figures suspended in mid-air. The sculptures, created without the aid of glue or nails, are based on balance and stability.
Xu, who has worked in Japan for many years, relates his paintings to musical notes, resulting in rhythmic patterns of colours and lines.
Gallery by the Harbour's first exhibition runs from tomorrow until September 2. Admission is free.
