Tam Siu-yin, 23, a former personal assistant of musician Wong Ka-keung, and his girlfriend, 19, were rescued when they tried to gas themselves in a flat in Shek Yam Road, Kwai Chung, yesterday. The flat owner discovered the attempted suicide when he noticed the gas cylinder missing and the door to a room he rented to Tam sealed with tape. Using his spare key, he entered the gas-filled bedroom and found the couple unconscious on a bed, according to police. The two are in stable condition in Princess Margaret Hospital.
