There are many ways to play Scrabble

I was excited to take part in the interhouse English quiz. I did the Scrabble challenge. I was really nervous before the game. But once it began, I was focused on the competition. At first, it was quite easy, and all the participants could spell words.

But soon our team had used up all the tiles in the bag. It was hard to spell anything because we had some very difficult letters like 'x' and 'q', and there was very little space space on the board. But this made the game more challenging and fun.

I learned a lot from the English quiz. It was a great experience.

Thanks for your letter, Edmund. I'm happy to hear that you enjoy Scrabble, it's my favourite board game. (My second favourite game is backgammon).

If you enjoyed the school Scrabble challenge, I think that you might like playing online. If you google 'online scrabble' you'll find a number of sites set up for Scrabble enthusiasts. The beauty of playing online is that you can set up a game and have it going all week, making a move each time you go online.

There are also computer and video game versions. But I think the traditional board game version is the best. It's much more fun playing with friends and watching each other sweat over tricky letters.
