Stars sing a different tune

Canto-pop singers Edmond Leung Hon-man (right), Justin Lo Ting- wei (centre) and Andy Hui Chi-on (far right) will each play gigs next month and in October to showcase new material.

Called MOOV Live, the concerts will allow local singers to perform new singles live before their albums are released.

'This is an interactive platform where singers can capture the immediate response from the audience and it's a good way to test whether or not our singles will hit the right market,' Leung said.

He said the songs he would perform were mostly about the memories he had of his girlfriend, and he hoped she'd be able to attend the show. Leung hinted that he would sing and play the piano at the same time.

Lo said he liked the feeling of getting closer to the audience while performing on stage, but said 'the smaller the venue is, the more anxious I am'. Organisers wouldn't reveal the venue.

Fans can register to watch the gigs online MOOV.now.com.hk, but concert dates have yet to be confirmed.
