About 500 Indonesian migrant workers marched to their consulate yesterday, urging the Hong Kong and Indonesian governments to lower workers' placement fees from HK$21,000 to HK$9,000. Sri Wulan Mawarsih, of the Hong Kong Coalition of Indonesian Migrant Workers Organisations, said the fee was equivalent to seven months' salary, causing workers financial difficulties in the first few months of employment.
