NEW YORK ART EXHIBITION

Get an insight into the historic New York Underground scene - soaked in pop and punk, hippie and disco - at the photography exhibition Bande a part - New York Underground '60s '70s '80s.

The exhibition is now on at two Wan Chai art venues - agnes b.'s Librairie Galerie (1/F, 18 Wing Fung Street) and Sun Hung Kai (Shop G3, 30 Harbour Road). The exhibition, featuring more than 200 prints by 10 photographers, has travelled from Paris to London, Tokyo and Los Angeles. The opening hours are from 11.30am to 8pm daily, except Sundays and public holidays. There is no entry fee. For more information, call 2101 9188.

TRY RUGBY

The Hong Kong Rugby Football Union will hold a 'Try Rugby' introductory session for beginners at the Happy Valley Sports Ground (Pitch 8) on September 1 from 11am to 12.30pm. GRADUATION SHOW

Enjoy an eye-catching spread of student artwork and design set up at the Hong Kong Cultural Centre in Tsim Sha Tsui. The show is the 4th Graduation Exhibition of the Associate of Arts (Art & Design) Students from the School of Continuing and Professional Education of the Hong Kong Institute of Education.
