If you need a new batterie de cuisine, head to one of the city's Le Creuset outlets. The French cookware manufacturer is known primarily for its colourful and heavy enamelled cast-iron pans, but it also has a stainless-steel line suitable for gas and electric cookers, including induction models. Until the end of this month, Le Creuset is having a trade-in sale; customers can bring in old pots and pans of any brand and purchase the stainless-steel cookware (excluding kettles, electric cookers and tableware) at half price. The limit is three new pieces per customer. The promotion is available at the shop in Central (L/G, Hoseinee House, 69 Wyndham Street) and the Le Creuset section of Sogo (seventh floor) in Causeway Bay, all outlets of City'super and Seibu, and Apita (formerly Uny) in Taikoo Shing. The inquiry hotline is 2790 1808.
