Chance for you to study in Japan

Here's an opportunity for those of you who are interested in Japanese culture. AFS Intercultural Exchanges is offering three scholarships for students to study in Japan.

Recipients of the scholarship will leave for Japan next March.

Sponsored by the Kamenori Foundation, the one-year scholarship will cover tuition fees and living expenses. Students will learn Japanese and live with host families so that they can immerse themselves in the Japanese culture.

Applicants must be aged 15 to 18 and have a basic knowledge of Japanese.

Those with good academic results who pass interviews will be short-listed for final consideration.
