One of the most recognisable faces of the first Gulf War is coming to Hong Kong for a Pulitzer Prize Winners workshop held by Baptist University's Department of Journalism. Former CNN correspondent Peter Arnett (below), who won a Pulitzer for his coverage of the Vietnam war, was also the only western journalist to cover the 1991 war live from Baghdad.

The New Zealand-American reporter will give three talks at Baptist University (as well as one at Macau University), on topics including war reporting and journalistic freedom. He will be in town from October 18 to 22.

Joining him at the conference catering for budding reporters are five other Pulitzer-winning reporters, writers and photographers: John Kaplan, Michael Vitez, Amy Goldstein, Steve Stecklow and The Wall Street Journal's Mei Fong.

For details of the seminars, starting October 15, you can visit Baptist U's journalism department website. All are welcome and seats are available on a first-come-first-served basis.
