The inspiration for Shanghai Tang's 'Khotan' autumn/winter collection preview at Cuisine Cuisine on September 19, was the Taklamakan Desert along the Silk Road. The space was filled with images of western China, and the collection included woolly sweaters with ethnic tribal patterns, led by Shanghai Tang's Liu Dan.

Among the fashion enthusiasts in attendance were 'Mr Hong Kong' Matthew Ko Kwan-yin, Flora Cheong-leen, Alain Chrun, Sally and Robert Lo, Aids Concern's Loretta Wong Wei-kwan and singer Sherman Chung.
